Glass beads are a reusable abrasive and are mainly used in blast rooms and blast cabinets.
Glass beads contain no free iron to cause corrosion on non-ferrous surfaces, therefor glass beads are very suitable to use on all types of metals.
Since it doesn’t create an anchor profile, it is mainly used to clean a substrate without roughening it or to polish the surface.
Scope: Stainless, glass, steel and aluminium
Standard particle sizes:
1) 40 µm to 70 µm
2) 70 µm to 110 µm
3) 90 µm to 150 µm
4) 100 µm to 200 µm
5) 150 µm to 250 µm
6) 200 µm to 300 µm
7) 300 µm to 400 µm
8) 400 µm to 600 µm
9) 400 µm to 800 µm
Brown aluminium oxide is a biproduct from of regular aluminium manufaction. It consists of metal and mineral.
Brown aluminimium oxide is a non-ferrous alternative abrasives for when you prepare surfaces of steel.
White aluminium oxide is used in conjuction with maintanance in the foundry industry.
Specific applications include high-tech refractory casting, isostatic pressed refractory and pre-cast refractory shapes.
Scope: All types of steelconstructions, stainless steel, aluminium, glassfiber, rock surfaces and momentum within:
Shipbuilding: construction, repair and maintanance.
Oil and petrolium industry: Maintanance on refineries, tankers and pipelines.
Maintanance work in the chemical industry, water and power plants.
Bridges and loock gates.
Production and maintanance og containers, tankers, rail cars and truck chassis.
Car chassis.
